The House on Homo Hill
As promised, here are some horrifying photos from Halloween night. The picture above is Peppa Roni's haunted mansion in the Highlands of Looseville, Kentucky. We had a screamingly good time getting it all done up for the holiday. We invited a large group of our most ghoulish gal pals over and concocted a witching little brew to get the good times simmering.
Despite the cool temperature and light rain, lots of little ghosts and goblins were trolling the neighborhood for treats. I decided to resurrect my zombie routine and had a total blast scaring all the little kiddies from the porch. Of course, some of the older "kids" were a little savvier. There was the one young lady who could be heard to scream, "Is that a drag queen?" She and her pals giggled as they tried to convince one another to go back and ask. My fans just get younger and younger all the time!
The biggest surprise of the night was running into U.S. Representative Anne Northup trying to scare up some votes for her dying campaign. If you're looking to promote hell on earth, she's definitely your candidate. As you can see from the pic on the left, there is a striking resemblance between us: I just look a little more lifelike.
Here I am trying to warm my bones by the fire. I do so love Halloween. I wonder what frights next year will bring. I'm sure the rest of the Jenkins clan back in Georgia had an absolute ball at The River's Edge. Hopefully, Pinkie has managed to find her way out of the forbidden forest by now.
Smooches,
Daph

LOL! Looks like Halloween was a blast! I love the part about the kids asking if you are a drag queen.
No doubt! As if there could be any question.
The parents were a trip as well. One of them commented on being jealous of my cocktail. I should have been handing out shooters to the chaperones.
Smooches,
